How do I get the most from my LivingWell treatment?

Arrival Time

New clients should arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment time, so they can fill out a health history form. This will help both you and your therapist design the best treatment to best meet your needs.

Don’t Rush. Current clients find that arriving 10 minutes before each treatment allows them to drop out of the fast-paced world and be more able to sink into their deeply calming massage session.

What should I wear?

At LivingWell your comfort is paramount. Our therapists are trained in proper draping techniques to ensure that your privacy and comfort will always be maintained. As is traditional for massage, you can choose to be unclothed or if it is more comfortable for you, you may wear your undergarments and/or loose, comfortable clothing.

How often should I schedule my treatments?

Staying well is easy if you are living well. The benefits of massage are cumulative. After 20 years of treating clients it comes as no surprise that people who get massage frequently and regularly report less injuries and stress. They are able to live a higher quality of life.

Most clients find the benefits of massage last for about three weeks if all else is well. The key to maintaining the benefits of massage is to schedule frequently enough so that your body is still feeling good in between appointments. This cumulative benefit actually saves you time and money. If you do get a strain or pull it is easier to treat because your body is already more loose and relaxed from regular treatment.
